Chapter 1476 - 62: Chaos Upon Chaos

"..."When Fisher recalled that he had Paimon’s Seal on him, the cuddly Demon Girl Elliog in his arms transformed into an incredibly scorching hot potato, making his act of holding her exceedingly stiff and hard to maneuver.

If Elliog’s first words upon waking hadn’t been so, perhaps Fisher wouldn’t be so nervous. After all, his relationship with Elliog was rather complicated; she was the only true Demon he knew (Helair totally doesn’t count). Although they had shared intimate moments, this feeling was not as intense as with Rafael and the others; it simply lingered in his heart persistently.

Perhaps in Fisher’s heart, Elliog wouldn’t even care about his relationships with other Ladies. Back then, when he was with Nali, she even encouraged him to release the pent-up desires within his body. Therefore, when he came to the Demon Dynasty seeking Elliog’s help, he didn’t even consider the chaos that might ensue, or he wouldn’t have agreed to bring Moli along.

But when Elliog, still drowsy, uttered those Helair-related words, Fisher sharply sensed a hint of malice in her tone. It was as if she had experienced a deeply unsettling nightmare, filled with frustration but unable to vent her anger since it was merely a dream...

Of course, Fisher was well aware that all this was about to become reality.

It seemed that she was displeased with the Trace of Helair on him, and now, Fisher, caught in a dilemma while holding her, had no choice but to enter a brief mental storm.

Yet clearly, Elliog’s momentary blur was just a brief lapse from this long-asleep Demon God. As a Demon God presiding over war, she possessed an instinctive sharpness.

In Fisher’s arms, Elliog, who had just closed her eyes to prepare for a comfortable nap, suddenly had her expression freeze slightly. Her nose twitched slightly as if late to recall something, and the arrow tail wrapped around Fisher’s waist tightened more and more, seemingly confirming the existence of his entity.

In Fisher’s peripheral vision, the flames on the arrow tail grew bigger, from fingertip-sized to the size of two tennis balls before finally stopping...

This also meant her consciousness was becoming clearer.

In the next moment, the gurgle from deep within her throat abruptly ceased, followed by the gradual simultaneous opening of her eyes that had been closed earlier, glinting brightly like magma, and she met Fisher’s gaze, who was looking down at her.

"Awoo, Fisher?"

After a moment of silence, she yawned again and spoke.

"Good morning, Elliog."

"..."

After nodding, she did not respond but instead took advantage of the slightly open gesture to bite his chest. Her scorching teeth did not break his defense but caused Fisher a mild ache. Yet, he did not release her, only letting go when she struggled slightly, allowing her to easily land on the ground, tapping the hot castle surface with her feet and stretching lazily.

Behind her, the Fire Pillar formed from her core continued to sway, the glow from the flames casting shadows on her back, much like a solar eclipse, leaving Fisher with an impressively dignified silhouette despite her lack of attire.

In the darkness against the light, Fisher could see Elliog’s state gradually recovering warmth, fully awakening from the hazy slumber. She lightly kicked up the piece of intimate garment that had fallen on the ground beside her, grasped it in hand, and draped it over her shoulders.

"You’ve been unruly outside, haven’t you? How come you have that guy’s Seal on you? What about mine?"

Elliog turned around, slightly approaching the standing Fisher, examining the spot she had just bitten. It still throbbed with pain, as if splashed with a mouthful of magma.

And in that scorching radiance, the sovereign Trace that Fisher had once seen as overseer of the "Paimon" mark now unmistakably indicated the remnants of Elliog’s Seal under it, clearly revealing the ruins where this Seal had descended.

Elliog’s earlier bite landed squarely on Helair’s Seal, seemingly unsatisfied, intending to crush and tear the mark apart, which is why Fisher felt pain—pain stemming from the soul.

But after she backed off a bit, Fisher realized Helair’s Seal remained intact, utterly unaffected by her power, not even fading in color, mockingly settled on Fisher’s chest, gazing at Elliog with indifferent ridicule.

"This Seal..."

Fisher glanced at the Seal on his chest, momentarily helpless, not knowing how to answer Elliog’s question.

Honestly, he had no idea when Helair had left this Seal on him. If it were in the past, when Helair was still an Angel, he probably wouldn’t recognize this Seal as belonging to a future Demon. But if it hadn’t been left until after returning to the past, he still didn’t know when he had been in close contact with Helair.

But can he say this Seal is unrelated to him, and he is unaware?
