Ye Chen came out carrying the steak and, seeing Su Wanyi sitting in the living room with a dark face, asked, "Wife, who pissed you off?""Who else could it be? Those two artists, of course." Su Wanyi said sourly.

Smelling the aroma of the steak, Su Wanyi followed him over.

She looked at Ye Chen and said, "You don’t know. I just turned on the TV and glanced at the entertainment channel, and what do you know, it happened to be an interview with those two artists."

"Oh, something like that could happen?" Ye Chen said thoughtfully.

"Exactly. Guess what they said?" Su Wanyi pressed.

"They definitely shoved all the blame onto themselves and wouldn’t mention Yu Yang even once." Ye Chen thought for a moment and said.

"Yeah, they were talking complete nonsense, obviously lying through their teeth, and no one was calling them out." Su Wanyi’s little face flushed red with anger.

"Hey, why take it so seriously? It’s all just Yu Yang’s setup. It’s fine. Since he pulled this, we don’t have to show any mercy at tomorrow’s press conference." Ye Chen comforted her.

Yeah. Actually, when Su Wanyi first found out the mastermind behind it all was Yu Yang, she hadn’t wanted to hold any press conference at all.

"Of course. Today is to celebrate you moving in to live with me. How would I dare slack off?" Ye Chen explained.

He was just about to open the wine, but Su Wanyi stopped him. She hadn’t seen the name on the bottle clearly earlier.

When Ye Chen held it in his hand, she could finally see clearly. She knew this wine was very expensive, and if they opened it now for just Two People to drink, wouldn’t that be a bit of a waste?

Ye Chen didn’t understand why Su Wanyi stopped him from opening the wine and looked puzzled. "Wife, is there a problem?"

"No, I just think it’s kind of too extravagant for the two of us to drink such an expensive wine, isn’t it?" Su Wanyi voiced her thoughts.

"I think we should forget it. How about we switch to another bottle?" Su Wanyi tried to persuade him.

"Nooo, I want to drink this one." Ye Chen said, acting spoiled like a child.

Maybe it was her maternal instinct flaring up, but Su Wanyi could only give in to Ye Chen’s request.

Watching Ye Chen open the wine, Su Wanyi couldn’t help feeling a twinge of pain in her heart.

She might be rich, but she would never be as wasteful as Ye Chen. She felt a wine this expensive should only be opened on very grand occasions.

But Ye Chen just casually opened it like it was nothing, which showed how clueless he was about being thrifty.

Ye Chen raised his wineglass, looked at Su Wanyi with a smile, and said, "Welcome to my lady of the house, moving in to live with me. My dream has finally come true."

"Hubby, is it that big a deal? You’re this happy just because I moved in?" Su Wanyi asked back with a smile.

"Of course. Do you know how much I miss you when I don’t see you for a long time? I want to call you, but I’m afraid of disturbing you."

Maybe because of the alcohol, Ye Chen finally said the words he had bottled up in his heart for so long.

Hearing this, Su Wanyi felt a wave of guilt. She hadn’t realized Ye Chen had been burying his feelings all this time.

"Hubby, where are you taking me? Are you lying to me?" Su Wanyi asked in a daze.
